Too many of us are working hard and still struggling to make ends meet, to find affordable housing, or to get quality care when we need it most.

The systems that shape our lives can change but only if we have leaders who understand them from the inside out. Sierra’s priorities are built around three guiding values: Care, Compassion, and Courage. 

These values aren’t just words, they are a plan for action that puts people over politics, meets communities where they are, and challenges the status quo so we can all thrive.

People Over Politics

  • Government should work for people, not for corporations or special interests. Everyone deserves access to safe housing, fair wages, quality schools, and strong public services that make life better now.

  • I am committed to finding real solutions that meet everyday needs and help build a future where all of us can thrive.

Community Care is Community Safety

  • We can’t police our way out of the crisis of violence. Real safety comes from care. This means stable housing, strong schools, mental health support, and opportunity for all.

  • Every neighborhood deserves safety and dignity. I’ll fight for investments in mental health, youth programs, and reentry supports that heal communities and break cycles of harm.

Lived Experience is Leadership

  • I’ve helped families navigate systems that weren’t built for them, and I’ve had to do the same myself. That lived experience drives my work as a social worker and advocate.

  • I’ve worked alongside legislators to strengthen programs that help and to stop policies that hurt. Policy isn’t abstract for me. It’s personal, and it must work for the people it impacts.

Policy Meets Practice

  • I’ve built programs, not just proposals. From managing workforce initiatives to leading the National Association of Social Workers here in Pennsylvania, I know what it takes to turn ideas into real-time impact.

  • I’ll fight for equitable education funding, job readiness and apprenticeship programs, and accessible public transit so every community in our district has a pathway to opportunity.

  • Change only happens when we have the courage to demand better. I’ll fight for transparency, ethical leadership, and fair funding for our schools and neighborhoods. In the face of rising extremism, we can’t afford politics as usual. We need bold public servants who will stand up to harmful agendas, put people first and fight for durable change!
